Many Volunteer Opportunities Available
To assist in the successful execution of the Family Jingle & Mingle, we ask all volunteers to make the following commitment to the volunteer role by being friendly, punctual, reliable, flexible and courteous to all working at the event and to our visitors.
- Set up/take down
- Santa Claus area
- Registration
- Floater/Runner
- Exhibitor Support
- Stage/Performer Support
- Carnival area
- Make It and Take It craft area
- Toddler play area
- Marketplace shopping area
- Other positions available
Parking is free. Any volunteer that works on Dec. 15 will receive dinner. Any volunteer who works one shift on the Sunday will receive a $5 voucher that can be used towards lunch. Any volunteer that works a double shift on Sunday, Dec. 16 will receive two $5 vouchers. Volunteers are asked to wear blue jeans and comfortable shoes (running shoes are acceptable). Volunteers are asked to wear a black, white or red shirt. Volunteers will be provided with an apron. Volunteers will also receive 6 free admission passes that you can give to your friends/family that can visit you at the event.
High school students welcome to receive your volunteer hours. To volunteer, you must be able to attend an orientation session at 4pm on Saturday, Dec. 15 at the International Centre, 6900 Airport Road.
